Having pursued photography for the past seventeen years, Danny’s art is about the tenuous connection between religion, culture and ritual.
Danny’s first solo exhibition was in 2004 at the Kunstgalerie in Stuttgart, Germany. He has since held solo exhibitions at Studio 56 (2006), Marinovicrhodes Gallery (2007) and Queen Street Gallery (2008) in Perth, Australia.
Showing in group exhibitions was been wide-spread: places like Western Australian Museum (1997), Agore Gallery in New York (2004) and Infusion Gallery in Los Angeles (2007).
Photographs have been published in publications such as Cleo Magazine Malaysia, Tracks Magazine, Stuttgarter Zeitung, WA Business News, Ralph Magazine and Inside Sport.
Three books of Danny’s art have been published by Kukubird: Tokyo (2001), Perth (2002), and Western Australia (2002). He was the art director for Sandra Rudolph’s The Adventures of Kaisu and Kalle – Journey to the South Pole (NSD Enterprises, 2008).
